Discharge Process

Once your doctor confirms that you are medically fit to leave the hospital, the discharge process will begin. The discharge decision is recorded in your medical file, and the nursing staff will inform the Billing Department to prepare your final bill.

Patients and their attendants are requested to allow approximately 2 hours for the hospital to complete the discharge formalities. During this time, the billing team will finalize the charges related to hospitalization, medicines, diagnostic tests, and other services.

Before leaving the hospital, patients or their relatives should:

• Complete the final payment and collect the payment receipt
• Receive discharge summary and medical reports
• Collect prescribed medications and follow-up instructions
• Understand the doctor’s advice regarding post-treatment care, diet, and medications

Our doctors and nursing staff will guide you through all necessary instructions to ensure a smooth recovery after discharge.
